Dara Pickren-Davis has been directing adult, youth, and children's choirs for over 15 years and has taught music and theatre in both public and private school settings. She has been instrumental in starting numerous children's and youth choirs in her home state of Georgia, including a community Christmas choir with a mission of raising money to support the non-profit group, Camden House.

In addition to her work with choirs and schools, Dara's broad background in music and theatre is demonstrated through her work as director, vocal coach and actress in numerous musical theatre productions. Some of her favorite roles include The Baker's Wife in "Into the Woods," Fiona in "Shrek the Musical," Agnes Gooch in "Mame," and Lady of the Lake in "Monty Python's Spamalot."

Dara has had the privilege of singing in choirs under the direction of Dr. Andre Thomas, Dr. Judy Bowers, and Dr. Rodney Caldwell. Dara began her vocal studies with Rhonda Hambright and studied under Janice Harsanyi during her time at Florida State University. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music with a Certificate in Vocal Performance from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida and a Master of Arts degree in Theatre Production for Central Washington University in Ellensburg, Washington.
